This is a transaction that executes two transactions simultaneously, including a purchase transaction and a sale transaction of the same amount of foreign currency with different settlement dates.

Product benefits:
Purchasing and selling foreign currencies to protect oneself against any future fluctuations in exchange rates. For instance, if a customer has a source of foreign currency on day T and a demand for foreign currency on day T+90, the customer may engage in a SWAP transaction in which the customer sells foreign currency on day T and purchases foreign currency on day T+90.
