Will my Digital Banking account be locked if I enter the wrong password multiple times?

If you enter an incorrect login password more than five (05) times, your Digital Banking service will be temporarily locked to ensure account security.

In this case, you may unlock the service and request a password reissuance by following the steps below:

Step 1: Unlock your Digital Banking service

  • Option 1: Contact the Customer Service Hotline

    • Call 1900 6083 (service fee may apply).

    • After listening to the instructions, press 3, then select 2 to receive automated assistance for unlocking the service.

  • Option 2: Contact the MSB Customer Service Center via online channels

    • Zalo Official Account: Ngân hàng Hàng Hải – MSB

    • Facebook Fanpage: MSB – Ngân hàng TMCP Hàng Hải Việt Nam

    • Customer Service Email: cskhcanhan@msb.com.vn

  • Option 3: Visit the nearest MSB Branch/Transaction Office for assistance * (Please bring your ID card or passport).

Note: After your service has been successfully unlocked, please use the “Forgot Password” function and follow the instructions to reset your password.

Step 2: Reissue your Digital Banking password

  • Option 1: Via the MSB mBank application
    1. Log in to the MSB mBank application and select “Forgot Password” on the login screen.

    2. Enter the required verification information, including: Username, Account Number, ID/Passport Number, and Date of Issue of the ID/Passport.

    3. The system will send a new password to the mobile phone number registered with MSB.

Note: Password reissuance is only applicable on the mobile device that has previously successfully logged in to MSB Digital Banking services.

  • Option 2: Visit the nearest MSB Branch/Transaction Office for assistance
