In which cases will the death benefit not be paid?
27/03/2026Prudential will not pay the death benefit if the insured dies due to any of the following causes, whether directly or indirectly:
- Suicide or self-inflicted injury within two years from the date the first basic premium is paid or the most recent policy reinstatement date.
- Criminal acts or intentional misconduct by the Policyholder causing harm to the insured.
- Criminal acts or intentional misconduct by the Beneficiary causing harm to the insured.
- The insured being executed under a court judgment.
- The insured being infected with HIV/AIDS or HIV-related illnesses (except for certain special cases under applicable regulations).
- The insured using narcotics, illegal stimulants, or substances not prescribed by a physician.
