MSB Contributes vnd 10 billion to humanitarian month 2026, spreading the spirit of community responsibilit

In response to the launch ceremony of Humanitarian Month 2026 organized by the Vietnam Red Cross Society, Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB) has donated VND 10 billion to support disadvantaged communities. This contribution reflects MSB’s continuous efforts in fulfilling its social responsibility and reaffirms the Bank’s commitment to accompanying the sustainable development of society.

Under the theme “80 Years – A Humanitarian Journey for the Community,” Humanitarian Month 2026 marks a significant milestone commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam Red Cross Society and the 136th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh, the Society’s first Honorary President. At the same time, 2026 also marks the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, creating additional momentum for ministries, sectors, and local authorities to further promote humanitarian activities and spread the spirit of compassion throughout society.

As part of this initiative, MSB has allocated a budget of VND 10 billion to accompany the Vietnam Red Cross Society in implementing meaningful community programs, including the construction of Red Cross houses, livelihood support for underprivileged households, and healthcare assistance for communities in disadvantaged areas. This support serves as an important resource in helping vulnerable groups gain better conditions to stabilize and sustainably improve their lives.

With sustainable development positioned as a strategic foundation, MSB consistently integrates business growth with social responsibility. Throughout its development journey, the Bank has continuously implemented practical social welfare programs aimed at creating positive and long-lasting value for the community, while also contributing to the achievement of national sustainable development goals. In 2025 alone, MSB carried out numerous impactful initiatives focusing on key areas such as education, healthcare, social welfare, and environmental protection, with a total budget amounting to tens of billions of Vietnamese dong.

A representative of MSB shared that through these contributions, the Bank hopes to strongly spread the spirit of sharing and the message “Together We Reach Further” across all regions of the country. Effectively fulfilling corporate social responsibility not only helps strengthen trust among customers and partners but also serves as a driving force for MSB to continue its journey of creating meaningful values for the community and the nation.
