Warning on Fraudulent Application Impersonating MSB

03/04/2026

Recently, MSB has received reports regarding a loan application named “Mar Vay” that falsely impersonates the brand of Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB) to approach and solicit customers to participate in online lending and financial trading platforms.

These actors have been exploiting MSB’s name, image, and brand recognition to build trust, thereby deceiving customers into installing the application, providing personal information, and conducting financial transactions.

MSB hereby announces and affirms:

The “Mar Vay” application is NOT owned by, affiliated with, or developed, operated, or partnered with Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB) in any form.
All information and activities related to the “Mar Vay” application are not part of MSB’s official product and service ecosystem.
