General Conditions for Guarantee Issuance

1. Customer Eligibility:
   • The customer must have been granted a credit facility, including a guarantee sub-limit, in accordance with applicable laws and MSB’s regulations in force from time to time.
   • The applicant for the guarantee must simultaneously be the guaranteed party. MSB only issues guarantees in the following two exceptional cases: 
     • Issuance to a guaranteed party based on a counter-guarantee provided by another credit institution;
     • Issuance to a guaranteed party that is a member of a joint venture/consortium contractor.
2. Guarantee Currency: Vietnamese Dong (VND); or Foreign currency (in certain cases, subject to MSB’s prevailing regulations).

1. Step 1: Receive the request directly from the customer or via electronic transaction channels.
2. Step 2: Review the documentation checklist, purpose of the guarantee, customer’s credit conditions, applicable fees and margin requirements.
3. Step 3: Notify the customer if additional documents or information are required.
4. Step 4: Draft the Guarantee Undertaking.
5. Step 5: Issue the Guarantee Undertaking.

Guarantee letters are issued in bilingual format in accordance with MSB’s regulations applicable from time to time.
