TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE LOYALTY PROGRAM FOR INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMERS OPENING NEW PAYMENT ACCOUNTS AT MSB

- Promotion Program Name: Loyalty program for individual customers opening new payment accounts at MSB.
- Promotion Area (scope): Nationwide
- Promotion Type: Offering goods and providing services free of charge in connection with the purchase of goods and provision of services.
- Application period: Applicable from August 11, 2025 to the end of October 31, 2025 or until the promotion budget is exhausted (whichever comes first and MSB does not require prior notice).
- Promotional goods and services: Online payment account service packages on Mobile Banking provided by MSB.
- Goods and services used for promotion: Rewarding points to customers according to the principles specified in the Program Terms and Conditions. Reward points are converted into Vouchers/Cashback (including gift vouchers, service/product discount vouchers) purchased from service/product providers for Customers.
- Promotion Program Customers (eligible beneficiaries): Individual customers who fully meet the following conditions: (i) have never had a CIF at MSB; (ii) encountered an error during the process of opening a payment account (including errors: Account registration service outside support hours; System interruption; Exceeding allowed attempts; Session expired; Biometric authentication); (iii) returned and successfully completed opening a new online payment account at MSB for the first time via the MSB mBank application during the period specified in Section 5 of these Terms and Conditions; (iv) excluding customers who entered a referral code/program code during the online payment account opening process on Mobile Banking.
To avoid misunderstanding, Customers of this Promotion Program are not customers belonging to MSB’s frequent customer programs according to MSB’s regulations/policies from time to time.

- Prize Structure:
- During the promotion period specified in Section 5 of these Terms and Conditions, each individual Customer will be awarded 20,000 M-Point reward points to their MSB Rewards account upon successfully opening a new online payment account at MSB for the first time via the MSB mBank application and meeting all the following conditions:
- The Customer has never had a CIF at MSB prior to the time of opening the online payment account on Mobile Banking.
- Excluding customers who entered a referral code/program code during the online payment account opening process on Mobile Banking.
- The program applies to the first 50,000 individual customers opening an online account on Mobile Banking during the program period. Each customer can only receive a maximum of one point award throughout the promotion period.
- Point Accrual Time: Points will be credited to the Customer’s MSB Rewards account no later than working day T+8. Day T is the date the first successful online payment account opening is recorded on MSB’s system.
- Regulations on the validity period of reward points:
– M-point points accumulated in month T* of this year are valid until the last day of month T in the following year.
Example:
– If you accumulate 20,000 M-point points on April 31, 2025, they will expire on April 31, 2026.
– If you accumulate 20,000 M-point points on April 1, 2025, they will expire on April 31, 2026.
– T* represents months from 1 to 12 in the year.
- Point Recall and Adjustment
- MSB reserves the right to deduct/recall points in the Customer’s MSB Rewards account in cases of suspected fraud, forgery, or transactions that do not represent genuine payment for goods and services for personal consumption at POS/mPOS, Internet, Mail/Phone orders, etc., at Merchants (MC)…
- In case the Customer has used up all points, the point recall will be recorded on the Customer’s reward account as a negative number. In this case, all points accumulated by the Customer thereafter will be prioritized to offset the recalled points. Customers will not be able to redeem gifts or use points until the account balance is greater than 0 (zero).
- Using M-point: Accumulated M-points will be available for use immediately after the customer receives the reward points from the program.
- How to use M-point:
- With available accumulated points, Customers can:
- Look up the Customer’s total available M-point points and the offers that can be redeemed with available M-point points on the Customer’s MSB mBank application.
- Customers can use accumulated points to redeem promotion/discount vouchers from service/product providers and save the voucher information in the “My Offers” section.
- Customers can use the redeemed promotion/discount vouchers to transact at the service/product provider that issued the discount/promotion voucher.
- When a customer redeems points, MSB will deduct points according to the mechanism: Points accumulated from account opening events and other point accrual programs will be deducted in chronological order (First In, First Out).
- In cases including but not limited to the following conditions, MSB reserves the right to refuse or cancel the customer’s point redemption request:
- Out of stock of promotion/discount vouchers;
- Invalid accumulated points or points undergoing fraud verification;
- System error;
- Other cases as notified by MSB to the Customer.

- The time limit for MSB to receive and resolve Customer inquiries and complaints is as follows. Any inquiries or complaints after this period will not be resolved:

- Regarding point accrual: Within 30 days from the date of the transaction/event.
- Regarding gift redemption transactions: Within 30 days from the date the Customer successfully completes the redemption request.
- Regarding other issues: 30 days for transactions involving disputes or complaints; MSB will temporarily freeze the points redeemed from these transactions. Subsequently, depending on the actual status of the investigation and complaint resolution, MSB will decide whether or not to calculate these accumulated points. In case a Customer violates the regulations on product use prescribed by MSB, depending on the severity of the violation, MSB reserves the right to recall part or all of the accumulated points corresponding to fraudulent transactions.
