MARITIME BANK: Re-positioning the brand - Change to speed up

To meet the current growth and prepare for the speed up period with a new strategic business, starting on January 10, 2010 Maritime Bank will officially change the brand identification throughout the system.

Year 2009 is considered a successful business year with steps in the strong growth of Maritime Bank, toward the goal to become one of the leading banks in the market on the ability to supply multi-function & professional financial services package follow international standards.

Up to December 31, 2009, profits from the business of Maritime Bank was 1084 billion VND, increased 132% compared with 2008. In addition, other business targets also grow stable; Maritime Bank's total assets reached nearly 65,000 billion VND, total mobilized capital reached 60,000 billion VND, were the significant step forward compared to 2008. At the end of 2009, rate of return on average capital Maritime Bank has reached 50%.

 

 

Jump to a new stage, with the desire to improve product quality and service, to offer a dynamic image of Maritime Bank to customers, on January 10, 2010 Maritime Bank will change brand identification system with a brand new logo. This is a significant event marking the significant and comprehensive change of Maritime Bank, from new business orientation to new appearance and new style. On the occasion of the event, on January 10, 2010, at the My Dinh Stadium, Maritime Bank held a festival Maritime Bank - Welcome the new year with the arrival of nearly 20 music stars: Hong Nhung, Dam Vinh Hung, Quang Dung, My Tam, Ho Quynh Huong ... Despite the cold weather, My Dinh Stadium was heated by the cheer of more than 30,000 spectators packed the sitting stands.

Mr. Tran Anh Tuan - CEO of Maritime Bank believes: "With the change of brand strategy, Maritime Bank want to assert further commitment “Creating sustainable value”, constantly diversifying and improving quality of products and services to maximize the benefit for customers and shareholders of the bank. This is the beginning to the steps toward the future of Maritime Bank with a brand new position.

Besides the new brand identification system, Maritime Bank is also developing plans to design and rebuild the entire interior & exterior system at all nationwide transaction points of Maritime Bank follow the modern & professional model, to create comfortable and convenience atmosphere for customers.

With the re-positioning of the brand identify system, Maritime Bank is taking steps to speed up, reaching new heights in the development, aiming to become one of the leading commercial banks in Vietnam.
