Customer use the payment account to keep, receive or transfer money with the purpose of legal payment and spending. Payment account is not limited by the number of money transferral or withdrawal.
1.1 Current Account
Utilities of the services:
- Safety because customers don’t have to hold and count cash as making or receiving payment, avoiding counterfeit money.
- Earn interests of current account regulated by Maritime Bank.
- Customer can carry out transactions at any branches of Maritime Bank.
- Currency: VND, USD, EUR…
· Procedures:
- Customer fill in an application form of Maritime Bank.
- A copy of ID or Passport is required
· Types of customer:
- All Vietnamese citizens are fully legal and civil competent. Foreign citizens are living or operating legally in Vietnam.
- If you open a payment account in foreign currency, you need to comply with regulations of foreign exchange control issued by The State Bank of Vietnam.
